Offenderwarning is not financed by organizations, companies or private persons. In order to be independent and in compliance with the ethical and legal standards of the international law enforcement industry we do neither accept donations nor do we enter into paid contractual relationships with state organizations or commercial companies.
Headquartered in East London, South Africa, we work worldwide with the public and private sectors and civil society. We maintain field operations in Africa, Eastern Europe, Latin America and Southeast Asia. We are incorporated as a non-profit association.
Our global team is made up of around 60 staff from 20 countries and a wide range of professional backgrounds. So we are both a multi-disciplinary and a multinational team. Gender balance is equal. Some of our staff are based at our headquarters in East London and others are duty-stationed in partner countries around the world.
Most of our colleagues are practitioners with many years of experience working in fraud prevention or law enforcement as part of governments, in financial institutions, airlines and in field research organisations.
